We utilize a New Tom low dose cone beam imaging C.T, that checks bone density and adjusts the dose....ensuring children receive a lower dose than adult patients.

This is done in our building, and images are viewed within 2 minutes. Parents are amazed at the technology that we have at hand.

Airway size can be clearly seen as well as enlarged and obstructive adenoids. These images can also be given to E.N.Ts and other Dental professionals.

Un-erupted teeth, such as canines and wisdom teeth, can be measured for the first time without any distortion and compared to the space available.

 

Many parents see us as a 2nd opinion after being told their kids need extractions and braces and often surgery.

Our experience is that... Early intervention at the correct age makes all the difference. The American and Australian society of Orthodontists recommend an assessment by the age of 7.

Compliance is crucial if one is to expect success with anything other than braces.

Many children either have crowding that requires expansion and development of one or both jaws prior to the MYOBRACE, or they require the advancement of their underdeveloped upper or retruded lower jaw.

In simple terms, this means that some children need to wear plates 24 hours a day (any colour they like) for a number of months, depending on severity of course, before they are ready for the MYOBRACE.

Fees vary depending on degree of difficulty and are covered in the information pack. An initial consultation costs $120, which will cover eligibility and treatment plans in great detail.
