We have been working on No Braces solutions for adults for some years. Sometimes the best treatment for irregular teeth is the use of veneers or crowns. We work with some very talented ceramicists to prepare veneers and crowns of excellent quality. An advantage of this treatment is that no retainers are needed and the work is finished in a matter of weeks. In many cases though, it is in the best interests of the patient to have their teeth moved into a better position and arch form.

In our experience, adult patients are attracted by non-extraction options. Invisible trays such as the Invisalign system suit many patients, but they are certainly not the miracle straightening solution that many patients hope for.

Although we are popular in helping adults avoid braces where possible, in many cases excellent results can only be obtained using fixed appliances like braces. There are some technologically advanced fixed appliances on the market and we can discuss this further if relevant during the initial consultation visit.

Cost varies according to the degree of difficulty of the case and what treatment is chosen by the patient, but we have found over the years that adults are a little more reassured and clearly understand their options after their initial consultation with us.
